Little Lightbulbs offers parent coaching and early intervention services for children with autism and developmental delays, grounded in everyday routines and real family life. Support is individualized, relationship-based, and designed to help families feel confident supporting development throughout the day.

Early Start services through the San Diego Regional Center
Little Lightbulbs provides Early Start services through the San Diego Regional Center for eligible infants and toddlers with autism or developmental delays. Support is family-centered and grounded in everyday routines, with a focus on helping caregivers support communication, engagement, and participation throughout the day.
Families may request Little Lightbulbs as their service provider by speaking with their SDRC service coordinator. Families are also welcome to reach out first to discuss fit and availability.
Sessions may include:

Building engagement and interaction during play and daily routines

Supporting understanding and expressive communication

Using developmentally appropriate strategies, including AAC when appropriate

Family-Guided Routines-Based Intervention (FGRBI) Coaching
Supporting development through everyday routines
Family-Guided Routines-Based Intervention (FGRBI) is a family-centered coaching approach that focuses on supporting children within the routines and activities that matter most to their families. Support is collaborative and grounded in daily life, helping caregivers feel confident supporting development throughout the day.
Coaching emphasizes understanding a child’s strengths, needs, and routines while working closely with families to build strategies that feel practical, respectful, and sustainable.

Private parent coaching offers individualized support for families seeking guidance outside of Regional Center services or in addition to them.
Coaching is relationship-based and responsive, focusing on communication, regulation, social engagement, and daily challenges in ways that feel practical and manageable for each family.
Support is designed to meet families where they are and adapt as needs change, with an emphasis on collaboration, flexibility, and meaningful progress in everyday life.
This option is self-pay, and pricing is discussed during the initial consultation to ensure services align with family goals and expectations.
